Toby Strong

Toby Strong is a multiple Emmy- and BAFTA winning wildlife and documentary cameraman. In the last 25 years, Strong has visited every continent. From the ice caves on the peak of Mount Erebus in Antarctica to Royal Albert Hall, from crossing the Sahara with camels to sailing to the Galapagos, from the Himalayas to the largest gatherings of people on Earth, he has worked on most of BBC’s landmark wildlife series over the last couple of decades. Strong has spent years walking with elephants, bears, gorillas, meerkats and other primates. Strong has walked into lions on a kill, had numerous snakes up his shorts, filmed undercover in the ivory carving workshops of China and worked in life-threatening situations with wildlife rangers across East Africa. Recently, Strong spent a fair amount of time filming with Sir David Attenborough and Prince William. He also spent the last year as a creative consultant on “Secrets of the Elephants” as well as filming the “_Deserts_” episode.
