David Glover

David Glover began his career at Windfall Films, where he devised one of the first reality TV series, “The Tourist Trap.” He also produced the Emmy® Award-winning series “DNA,” which told the story of DNA from the discovery of the double helix and included interviews with twelve Nobel Prize winners.

He then joined the Channel 4 commissioning team. Glover commissioned many award-winning programs, including “Gogglebox,” “Inside Nature’s Giants” and “The Murder Detectives.” For his season of “Live from Space,” he was given an award from NASA. He worked with a wide range of people, including Werner Herzog and Stephen Hawking.

Alongside Mark Raphael, he is now the co-CEO of 72 Films and is behind shows that include the Emmy Award-winning “9/11: One Day in America” and “Nations United: Urgent Solutions for Urgent Times,” which was filmed and produced during the Covid pandemic. 72 Films was voted the Best Independent Television Production Company in the U.K. in an industry poll for the last two years running.
