Zosia Mamet

“Merian”
Talent: StuGo

Zosia Mamet voices Merian, a high-strung perfectionist and planner, in “StuGo,” an original animated series about six middle schoolers who get tricked into attending a fake academic summer camp by a mad scientist. What started as three months of learning transforms into an adventure of a lifetime on a tropical island filled with mind-reading manatees, giant fighting fungi, and fashion-forward mutants.

Mamet is perhaps best known for her starring role as Shoshanna Shapiro in the EmmyⓇ and Golden GlobeⓇ Award-winning HBO series “Girls.” Mamet can currently be seen starring opposite Stephanie Hsu in Peacock’s new series “Laid” from “Fresh Off The Boat” creator Nahnatchka Khan, and before that, opposite Tony Hale and Saoirse Jackson in Netflix’s period dramedy “The Decameron” from “Teenage Bounty Hunters” creator Kathleen Jordan and “Orange is the New Black” creator Jenji Kohan. She most recently starred opposite Kaley Cuoco in the Emmy-nominated HBO Max series “The Flight Attendant.” Mamet and her castmates were nominated for a Screen Actors Award for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series in recognition of their work on the two-season series.

Her other notable television credits include the Netflix limited series “Tales of the City” alongside Laura Linney, Ellen Page and Olympia Dukakis and Apple TV’s “Dickinson,” where she played the inimitable Louisa May Alcott opposite Hailee Steinfeld. She also played high-profile supporting or recurring roles in “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Mad Men,” “United States of Tara” and “Parenthood.” Notable film credits include “Molly and Max,” “Under the Silver Lake,” “The Boy Downstairs,” “Weiner-Dog,” “Greenberg” and “The Kids Are All Right.”

Mamet made her stage debut in the critically acclaimed off-Broadway MCC production of “Really Really,” directed by David Cromer at The Lucille Lortel Theater. She also starred opposite Norbert Leo Butz and Dolly Wells in the off-Broadway world-premiere production of “The Whirligig,” written by Hamish Linklater and produced by acclaimed director Scott Elliott for The New Group.
