Yvette Nicole Brown
Actress, singer and television host Yvette Nicole Brown voices the role of Chief Faye Fireson in Disney Branded Television’s animated series “Firebuds,” about a team of young kids, who are the children of first responders, and their talking vehicle sidekicks.
Currently, Brown is also the voice of Mama Rabbit in Disney Junior’s animated series, “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery” and can be seen soon on season two of the Disney+ original series “Big Shot” with John Stamos, and will be co-starring in “Disenchanted” premiering on Disney+ in November.
Brown began her entertainment career as a recording artist while still in her teens. After an impromptu audition for Michael Bivins (“New Edition”), she was signed to Motown Records.
Since then, Brown has emerged as one of the most recognizable actresses in Hollywood, highlighted by memorable appearances on numerous hit television shows, including the role of Shirley on “Community.” Brown’s additional television credits include ABC’s “The Mayor,” “Drake & Josh,” “The Odd Couple,” “Mom,” “Psych,” “House,” “Entourage,” “The Office,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Malcolm in the Middle” and “That ’70s Show.” Her television voice-over credits include Disney’s “Elena of Avalor,” “The Chicken Squad,” “DC Super Hero Girls,” “SuperMansion,” “Pound Puppies” and “Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures.”
Brown’s film credits include Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame,” Disney+’s “Lady and the Tramp,” “Little Black Book,” “The Island,” “Dreamgirls,” “The Kid & I,” “Meet Dave,” “Tropic Thunder,” “The Ugly Truth,” “Repo Men,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,” “500 Days of Summer” and “Yellowbird.” In 2019, Brown wrote, executive produced and starred in the romantic comedy “Always a Bridesmaid.”
Brown has also become one of the most sought-after talk show personalities, guest co-hosting multiple episodes of “The View,” “The Chew,” “The Talk,” “The Real” and a full season of “The Jeff Probst Show.” Most notably, Brown has become a fan favorite on “Talking Dead” with Chris Hardwick and was also the host of the Disney+ game show “The Big Fib.”
