Scott Thomas
Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas are the executive producers and showrunners of “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” a continuation of the Emmy® Award-winning “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
Elinoff and Thomas are Children’s and Family Emmy, Daytime Emmy, BAFTA, GLAAD, NAACP Image, and Kids’ Choice Award-nominated writers and producers responsible for over 36 global film and television productions. Together, they developed and executive produced Disney Channel’s hit series “Raven’s Home,” which ran for six seasons and garnered multiple accolades. The pair are currently developing the pilot “Alice in the Palace,” an upcoming spinoff of “Raven’s Home,” which they will also executive produce.
Elinoff and Thomas have created and showrun multiple series as a duo, including “Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja” and “Best Friends Whenever” for Disney Channel, “Malibu Rescue” for Netflix, and “Day of the Dead” for Syfy.
Film projects attributed to Elinoff and Thomas include holiday caper “The Naughty Nine” for Disney+, “Worst. Prom. Ever.” and three installations of the “My Super Psycho Sweet 16” franchise for MTV, a horror reimagining of “The Banana Splits” for Warner Brothers, and holiday musical charmer “The Mistle-Tones” for Freeform.
Elinoff was born and raised in Endwell, New York. Thomas was born and raised in Coffeyville, Kansas. Both currently reside in Los Angeles with their families.
