Phil Weinstein is executive producer and supervising director of Disney Junior's "Mickey Mouse Funhouse," a whimsical animated series for preschoolers featuring Disney's #1 star, Mickey Mouse, and his pals — Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Funny, an enchanted talking playhouse.
Weinstein most recently served as director on Disney Junior's Emmy® Award-nominated "Mickey and the Roadster Racers" and "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." His career began as a storyboard artist on "Darkwing Duck," "Winnie The Pooh," "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" and "Boo To You Too! Winnie the Pooh," which earned him an Emmy award.
Director and producer of the Humanitas Prize-winning "Balto: Wolf Quest" and "Balto III: Wings of Change," Weinstein's additional directing credits include "Hellboy Animated," "Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle," "Jackie Chan Adventures," "Scooby-Doo! Where's My Mummy" and "Stretch Armstrong." He created the main title for "The Spectacular Spider-Man" and storyboarded multiple musical numbers in the film "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut."
Weinstein earned a bachelor's in fine arts from Southern Methodist University and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and sons.
