Paula Rosenthal
Emmy® Award winner Paula Rosenthal is creator and executive producer of “SuperKitties,” an adorable, action-packed series about four fierce and furry superhero kittens on a mission to make their town of Kittydale a more caring and “pawesome” place.
An experienced showrunner, her additional animated television credits include “Sunny Day,” “Peter Rabbit,” “Gaspard and Lisa” and “Olivia.”
A seasoned television executive, Rosenthal currently serves as executive vice president of Creative Content at Sony Pictures Television’s Kids division (formerly Silvergate Media). Previously, she served as vice president of Original Programming at Playhouse Disney, the predecessor to Disney Junior, where she oversaw a diverse slate of projects ranging from puppetry and live-action to animation, including “Bear in the Big Blue House,” “Book of Pooh,” “Handy Manny,” “Rolie Polie Olie” and “Johnny and the Sprites.”
Rosenthal’s experience also includes supervising original programming and production for USA Network and Sci-Fi Channel at USA Cable Networks. Before joining USA Cable Networks, she was a senior producer at CNBC, where she was responsible for the weekend news and the entertainment show “Talk Live.”
Rosenthal began her career at Grosso-Jacobson Productions, working on international co-productions of “Night Heat,” “Diamonds, ” “True Blue” and “Top Cops.”
A Brooklyn native, Rosenthal currently resides in Connecticut with her husband.
