Paul Hoen is the director of the Disney Channel Original Movie "ZOMBIES 2," the highly anticipated sequel to the hugely successful "ZOMBIES," which he also directed.
This movie, which is the 15th Disney Channel Original Movie Hoen has directed, hits with a generation of young viewers and is among projects which have garnered Hoen critical acclaim. Hoen won the DGA Award in 2007 for "Jump In!" and again in 2012 for "Let It Shine." He was also nominated for a DGA Award for "The Cheetah Girls One World" in 2008 and for "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" in 2010.
Additionally, Hoen was nominated for DGA Award for his work on the ABC Family movie "Searching for David's Heart," and for the episode of "Even Stevens" entitled "Take My Sister…Please."
Other Disney Channel Original Movie franchise titles that are directed by Hoen include "How to Build a Better Boy," "Cloud 9," "Dadnapped," "Read It and Weep," "Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off," "You Wish!," "Luck of the Irish" and "Tru Confessions," winner of a Media Access Award.
Hoen's additional credits include Disney Channel's hit series "Andi Mack," as well as "JONAS L.A.," "Zeke and Luther," "Roundhouse," "The Secret World of Alex Mack," "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," "Cousin Skeeter," "The Jersey," "Just for Kicks," "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and "Just Jordan." He has also directed several episodes of "South of Nowhere," which received a GLAAD Award nomination for Best Teen Drama.
Hoen studied drama, film and television at the University of Santa Clara in California.
