Max Matenko

Max Matenko stars as Milo, Justin Russo’s youngest son, in the upcoming series “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” a continuation of the Emmy® Award-winning “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

Matenko’s television credits include a recurring role as Simon in “Platonic” and additional roles in “General Hospital” and “This Is Us.” Matenko is often described as “wise beyond his years” or a “45-year-old in a kid’s body.” He loves to interact with people of all ages, and he is unusually adept at giving out sage advice for someone his age, which is what led him to start his own YouTube channel, “The Happy Center,” where he offered advice as a “kid therapist,” when he was about 6 years old.

Beyond professional projects, Matenko is passionate about tennis and baseball, and he competes in both at an advanced level. He also enjoys traveling, doing puzzles, playing board games, learning about astronomy, reading and spending time with his older sister, Ruby, who is also an actor.

Matenko currently resides in Los Angeles.
