Julie Bowen
Julie Bowen is an executive producer of “Prom Pact,” from Disney Branded Television, a heartfelt romantic comedy set during the emotion and excitement of high school prom season.
Bowen is a two-time Emmy® Award winner for her portrayal of Claire Dunphy on the hit ABC series “Modern Family,” which ended its 11-year run in 2020. On the big screen, she is often remembered for her iconic appearance in Adam Sandler’s early movie “Happy Gilmore.” More recently, in film, she starred in “Mixtape” and “Hubie Halloween” for Netflix and was featured in “The Fallout” with Jenna Ortega and Maddy Ziegler for Warner Brothers/HBO Max. Earlier television series include “Boston Legal” with James Spader and the charming show “Ed,” where Bowen played dream girl Carol Vessey. Other feature credits include “Life of the Party” and “Horrible Bosses.”
Bowen is also a director, having directed two episodes of “Modern Family” and a short film called “Girl Code,” also starring Jenna Ortega, which encouraged young women in tech fields. Bowen voices characters on Disney’s “Duck Tales” and “Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure” and previously was the voice of Lil Dipper in “Planes: Fire & Rescue.” She has also been seen hosting late-night television when she guest hosted for ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” interviewing Minnie Driver and Jacob Elordi with musical guest Ashe.
She is currently in development as a producer on several series and films and co-hosts an ongoing podcast called “Quitters,” where she and her co-host, writer Chad Sanders, interview people who have made life changes by leaving something they felt defined them. She is on the board of the Los Angeles-based charitable organization Baby2Baby.
