Darby Camp stars as Megan, a sweet and anxious overthinker determined to have an epic night celebrating her best friend’s birthday slumber party, in the Disney Original Movie “The Slumber Party.”
Camp is a young actress with an exuberant personality that makes her a standout and one to watch among her peers. Having worked on numerous critically acclaimed series and with some of Hollywood’s most revered actors and actresses, Camp has had mentors who helped guide her toward her bright future.
Camp was most recently seen in Starz’s Watergate drama series “Gaslit.” She starred as Marty Mitchell, the daughter of Martha Mitchell (Julia Roberts), who is forced to choose between her parents as their marriage falls apart. She also starred as the beloved Emily Elizabeth in Paramount’s “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” an American fantasy-comedy based on the cherished children’s books, and in the Netflix holiday film “Christmas Chronicles 2.” The film follows Kate Pierce (Camp), now a cynical teen, who unexpectedly reunites with Santa Clause when a mysterious troublemaker threatens to cancel Christmas forever, starring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Camp was seen on 100 screens in Paramount Pictures’ “Dreamland,” starring Margot Robbie. The film made its world premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and follows an outlaw bank robber (Robbie) during the Great Depression who becomes involved with a young man (Finn Cole) who must choose between collecting the bounty on her head or following his heart. Camp plays the sister to Cole’s character.
Past television projects include HBO’s Golden Globe®- and Emmy®-winning series “Big Little Lies,” playing Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, ABC’s Golden Globe-winning series “Grey’s Anatomy” and HBO’s Emmy-winning series “The Leftovers.” On the big screen, Camp has been seen starring in the thriller “Calm Before” and the drama “When We Last Spoke.” Camp currently resides in North Carolina.
