ABC Audio Launches Season 3 of Its Award-Winning Podcast ‘Life Out Loud With Lz Granderson’

ABC Audio launched today the third season of “Life Out Loud with LZ Granderson,” its award-winning podcast focused on LGBTQ+ issues. The new, six-episode season, hosted by ABC News contributor and Emmy® Award-winning journalist LZ Granderson, explores the concept of family as well as parenting through the lens of the LGBTQ+ community. By drawing on his own lived experiences as a gay, Black father, Granderson delivers inspiring conversations on the topics of adoption, surrogacy, biracial parenting and more. “The first two seasons were about getting our stories out there and getting information out there,” said LZ Granderson. “Season three is about showing our hearts, and what better way to do that than to talk about our families? ABC Audio Launches ‘GMA’ Apple Podcasts Channel and Announces Three New Podcast Projects

Today, ABC Audio launched its new “GMA” channel on Apple Podcasts and announced three new podcast projects: a “Good Morning America” podcast; the second season of “Life Out Loud with LZ Granderson”; and new entertainment podcast “Close Up,” hosted by Kelley Carter. ABC Audio’s free “GMA” channel will house these new projects, as well as all of ABC News’ lifestyle, culture and entertainment on-demand audio content, including its popular “In Plain Sight: Lady Bird Johnson” podcast. All of ABC Audio’s podcasts are available across major podcast platforms. Beginning today, the “Good Morning America” podcast will allow both the first and second hours of “Good Morning America” to be available to listeners as a podcast. ABC News Kicks Off Pride Month With a New Podcast Aiming To Preserve the History of the LGBTQ+ Community and Celebrate the Joys of Living ‘Life Out Loud’

On Tuesday, June 1, ABC News will kick off Pride Month with the two-episode premiere of its first LGBTQ+ issue-focused podcast, “Life Out Loud with LZ Granderson.” ABC News Contributor LZ Granderson draws from his own lived experience as a gay, Black father to host inspiring, provocative and often hilarious conversations to help preserve the history of the LGBTQ+ community. This podcast will delve into the policies, cultural touchstones and historical events that have shaped the collective experience of this often underrepresented and misunderstood group. Guests will shed light on the past by sharing their own stories and look to the future by describing their vision for how living “life out loud” should look.
