ABC NEWS ANNOUNCES WHITE HOUSE TEAM COVERING PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP AND THE NEW ADMINISTRATION

ABC News president Almin Karamehmedovic announced today the White House team covering President-elect Donald Trump and his new administration. Chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce will continue to lead coverage of the White House and the incoming administration. This will be Bruce’s fifth presidential administration that she will cover for the network. Bruce was the lead correspondent reporting on President Biden’s reelection campaign, his historic decision to exit the race, and Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. For the week of Jan. 6, 2025, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.74 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.571 million) among the daytime network talk shows and news programs, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.61 rtg. and 2.434 million, respectively), “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” (1.28 rtg. and 1.956 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (1.06 rtg. and 1.596 million, respectively).
