With Double-Digit Gains Week to Week and Year to Year, ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ Hits Season Highs in Total Viewers and Adults 25–54
‘This Week’ Outdelivers NBC in Overall Audience for All Six Telecasts of the Season and Delivers Strongest Adults 25-54 Performance in 16 Months
Season to Date, ‘This Week’ Beats NBC in Total Viewers for the 4th Consecutive Season
“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” averaged 2.816 million Total Viewers and 527,000 Adults 25-54 on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “This Week” outperformed NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+294,000 – 2.816 million vs. 2.522 million), beating the NBC program in all six telecasts of the season and for the 7th consecutive telecast overall.
- “This Week” posted double-digit gains week to week in Total Viewers (+13% – 2.816 million vs. 2.491 million) and Adults 25-54 (+34% – 527,000 vs. 394,000), hitting season highs in both measures. In fact, “This Week” turned in its strongest Adults 25-54 performance in 16 months — since 6/11/23.
- “This Week” also turned in double-digit gains year to year in Total Viewers (+28% – 2.816 million vs. 2.0064 million) and Adults 25-54 (+40% – 527,000 vs. 376,000).
- Season to date, “This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+120,000 – 2.558 million vs. 2.438 million) for the 4th consecutive season.
George Stephanopoulos is anchor; Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Brooke Brower is the executive producer.
ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” each air for 60 minutes, while CBS’ “Face the Nation” airs for 30 minutes.
