With 9-Week High in the Key Adult News Demo, ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ Is No. 1 in Adults 25–54
‘This Week’ Grows Across the Board Week to Week, Outperforming NBC in Total Viewers for 4th Consecutive Telecast, and Grows Year Over Year in the Key Adult News Demo
For 4th Season Running, ‘This Week’ Is Beating NBC in Total Viewers
“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (483,000) on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “This Week” outperformed NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+126,000 – 2.431 million vs. 2.305 million) for the 4th consecutive telecast.
- “This Week” saw increases week to week in both Total Viewers (+4% – 2.431 million vs. 2.327 million) and Adults 25-54 (+49% – 483,000 vs. 324,000), hitting a 9-week high in the key Adult news demo — since 8/11/24.
- “This Week” improved year to year in Adults 25-54 (+5% – 483,000 vs. 458,000).
- Season to date, “This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+105,000 – 2.443 million vs. 2.338 million) for the 4th consecutive season.
George Stephanopoulos is anchor; Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Brooke Brower is the executive producer.
ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” each air for 60 minutes, while CBS’ “Face the Nation” airs for 30 minutes.
