‘THIS WEEK WITH GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS’ GROWS WEEK TO WEEK AND YEAR TO YEAR IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND STANDS AS THE ONLY SUNDAY PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROGRAM TO GROW IN ADULTS 25-54 FROM YEAR AGO WEEK
‘This Week’ Outdelivers NBC in Total Viewers for 7th Straight Telecast and in Adults 25-54 by Second Largest Margin This Season
Season to Date, ‘This Week’ Beats NBC in Total Viewers for the 4th Consecutive Season
“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” averaged 2.624 million Total Viewers and 443,000 Adults 25-54 on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “This Week” beat NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+230,000 – 2.624 million vs. 2.394 million) for the 7th straight telecast. In addition, “This Week” posted its largest Adults 25-54 lead (+38,000 – 443,000 vs. 405,000) over the NBC program in nearly 4 months and 2nd-largest overall this season.
- For the second week in a row, “This Week” turned in Total Viewers gains week to week (+2% – 2.624 million vs. 2.565 million).
- “This Week” saw increases on the year-ago Sunday in Total Viewers (+5% – 2.624 million vs. 2.400 million) and Adults 25-54 (5% – 443,000 vs. 371,000), standing as the only Sunday public affairs program to grow in the key Adult news demo year to year.
- Season to date, “This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+86,000 – 2.534 million vs. 2.448 million) for the 4th consecutive season.
George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Brooke Brower is the executive producer.
ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” each air for 60 minutes, while CBS’ “Face the Nation” airs for 30 minutes.
