Monday, Oct. 21: Candid Conversations: Medical Gaslighting. Our guests are pushing back and flipping the script on women’s health. Despite being a doctor herself, Dr. Maryann Dakkak says her severe back injury was dismissed due to her weight. Aurora Lucas says doctors told her she was too young to be sick, but then she was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. Author Kourtney McGowan published her book, “Help! I’m Black and Pregnant: The Black Woman’s Guide for a Better Pregnancy and Birth Outcome,” after suffering two miscarriages while feeling ignored by her doctors. Tuesday, Oct. 22: The Real Wayne Brady: Only for the Tam Fam, an exclusive performance by Wayne Brady with his daughter, Maile, in a daytime TV first! Plus, his ex-wife and her life partner join the show as Wayne talks about revealing his sexuality to his mother, what it’s like to be his authentic self finally, and what happened after his new reality show, “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix,” revealed family secrets.
Wednesday, Oct. 23: You Won’t Believe Where I Live: People living in some of the most unusual homes you’ve ever seen! Broadway star Robert Hartwell shares a renovation update on his 1820s house built by enslaved people and living his ancestors’ “wildest dreams.” A couple who converted a schoolhouse into a huge family home, a man who is afraid to fly but now lives inside two abandoned passenger planes, a New Jersey woman who had to prove she could live on a remote private island before being allowed to buy it, and the ultimate Barbie home! Finally, interior designer and HGTV’s Designer of the Year finalist Isabel Ladd shows us the new trends of “Dopamine Decor.”
Thursday, Oct. 24: Men We Love: LeVar Burton and George Lopez and two big exclusives for the Tam Fam! First, Emmy®, Peabody and GRAMMY® Award-winning actor, director and producer LeVar Burton talks about why hosting and executive producing the new game show “Trivial Pursuit” is a dream job. Plus, in an emotional reveal, Tamron tells him how he inspired her next book. Then, George Lopez makes an exclusive and shocking reveal about his stand-up comedy, while his daughter Mayan opens up on how real life inspired “Lopez vs Lopez.”
Friday, Oct. 25: Changing The Way You Age: From self-care and fitness to the viral “menopause makeover” surgical trend, we’re talking ways to help look and feel younger. For the first time, former model and current entrepreneur Nicole Murphy talks about the shocking passing of her boyfriend, Warren Braithwaite, and how it inspired her not to let a number define her age. Next, renowned, board-certified dermatologist and scientist Dr. Whitney Bowe discusses her “three-dimensional approach” to skincare. Dr. Smita Ramanadham joins us to discuss her menopause makeover.
