Highlights for ABC News’ ‘Good Morning America,’ Jan. 16–21

The following report highlights the programming of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during the week of Jan. 16-21. “Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan, and Ginger Zee is the chief meteorologist. The morning news program airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (7:00-9:00 a.m. EST) on ABC.

Highlights of the week include the following:

Monday, Jan. 16 — “GMA” celebrates National Martin Luther King Jr. Day; professional basketball player Maya Moore and wrongly convicted man Jonathan Irons talk new memoir (“Love and Justice”); “GMA” features Super Bowl kid correspondent; actor Nathan Fillion talks new ABC series (“The Rookie: Feds”); wildcard game preview with former NFL quarterback Troy Aikman

Tuesday, Jan. 17 — Better than Ever series spotlights dating during Dry January with author Hilary Sheinbaum; “GMA” spotlights fashion designer Max Alexander for Kid Creators series; drag queen Shangela talks before nationwide tour; ESPN host Stephen A. Smith on new book (“Straight Shooter”)

Wednesday, Jan. 18  Better than Ever series continues with ABC News technology correspondent Becky Worley on streamlined solutions for the new year; Kid Creators series with crocheter Jonah Larson; “GMA” Book Club January pick; former NFL players Michael Griffin and Brian Orakpo and business partner Bryan Hynson on their TV series (“The Cupcake Guys”)

Thursday, Jan. 19 — Kid Creators series highlights baker Maddie French; Better than Ever series features ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee on cutting waste at home; Deals and Steals: Sleep Solutions with ABC e-commerce editor Tory Johnson

Friday, Jan. 20 — Chef Kathy Fang joins “GMA” to talk Lunar New Year; Real Simple beauty director Heather Muir on beauty needs for 2023; a performance by Mickey Guyton and Lukas Graham

Saturday, Jan. 21 – Dermatologist Dr. Whitney Bowe with skincare tips; “GMA” marks 35 years of “Phantom of the Opera”; Binge This! Oscar nominee predictions; Deals and Steals: Indoor Fun with ABC e-commerce editor Tory Johnson
