For the 30th Week Running , ‘GMA3’ Beats NBC and CBS in Total Viewers, Draws Its Largest Audience in 4 Weeks

“GMA3: What You Need to Know” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.307 million), Women 25-54 (138,000-tied) and Women 18-49 (96,000) for the 3rd week in a row during the week of July 8, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA3” outdelivered CBS’ “The Talk” and “NBC News Daily” in overall viewers for the 30th straight week in a row.
  • “GMA3” improved on the previous week in Total Viewers (+6% – 1.307 million vs. 1.228 million), drawing its largest overall audience in 4 weeks — since w/o 6/10/24.
  • Season to date, “GMA3” ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.391 million) versus CBS’ “The Talk”(1.309 million) and “NBC News Daily” (1.171 million) for the 2nd season in a row.

NOTE: For the week, “The Talk” was retitled to “Talk” due to being repeats. The retitled telecasts are excluded from the season averages.

Emmy® Award-nominated “GMA3: What You Need to Know” is a one-hour program co-anchored by Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan with Dr. Jennifer Ashton as chief health and medical correspondent, airing weekdays at 1:00 p.m. EDT|12:00 p.m. CDT on ABC. Catherine McKenzie is the executive producer.
