Rhiannon Ally
Rhiannon Ally was named co-anchor of “World News Now” and “America This Morning” in 2022.
Ally joined ABC News in December of 2021, where she has covered high-profile stories such as the Ghislaine Maxwell trial and Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Prior to ABC News, Ally served as a weekday evening co-anchor for KSHB-TV in Kansas City, Missouri. Before that, Ally was the co-anchor of “CBS4 This Morning” and “CBS4 News at Noon” at WFOR-TV in Miami, Florida.
While at WFOR, Ally anchored breaking news across the country, including the Boston Marathon bombing, Hurricane Sandy and the papal conclave when Pope Benedict retired. She also started her own weekly series focusing on modern-day parenting.
Ally got her start in news at WCBS-TV in New York as a substitute news anchor and entertainment news reporter. She also co-hosted the nationally syndicated lifestyle and entertainment program “Better TV,” where she reported from the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, traveled to London to cover the world premiere of “Avatar,” and conducted one-on-one interviews with icons such as Madonna, Denzel Washington, Caroline Kennedy and Gloria Steinem.
