‘Dancing with the Stars’ 500th Telecast Is Top Entertainment Program of the Night in Adults 18-49

Disney/Eric McCandless* Series photos are available here. “Dancing with the Stars” celebrated its 500th episode on Tuesday night, becoming the top entertainment program of the night in Adults 18-49 (0.71 rating). In addition, the milestone episode, featuring spectacular tribute performances from past seasons, ranked as the No. 1 telecast on Tuesday night in Women 18-34 (0.92 rating) and Women 18-49 (0.95 rating), as well as Teens 12-17 (0.29 rating) and Adults 25-54 (0.93 rating). “Dancing with the Stars” grew over the previous episode by a healthy +15% in Total Viewers (5.13 million vs. 4.47 million), hitting a season high. “Dancing with the Stars” also led NBC’s “The Voice” by 29% (5.13 million vs. 3.97 million), its largest margin over the long-running singing competition program in nine years — since 11/24/15. The all-new episode of “Dancing with the Stars” airs TUESDAY, NOV. 19 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST/PST, 7:00-9:01 p.m. CST), simulcasting LIVE across both ABC and Disney+ in local time zones and next day on Hulu. ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Is Top Program of the Night in Adults 18–49

Building on its remarkable success this season, “Dancing with the Stars” was the top entertainment program of the night in Adults 18-49 (0.72 rating), based on Live+Same Day data. With the show’s festive “Disney Night,” “Dancing with the Stars” (0.72 rating) led its closest competition in the 8-10 p.m. time period on CBS by +85% (0.39 rating), NBC by +95% (0.37 rating) and FOX by 300% (0.18 rating). “Dancing with the Stars” topped the previous week’s episode in Total Viewers by 10% (4.85 million vs. 4.40 million)and in Adults 18-49 by +7% (0.72 rating vs. 0.67 rating), hitting a 4-week high in both measures – since 9/24/24. The season’s popular “Disney Night”increased on the comparable “Disney Night” telecast from last season by +24% (0.72 rating vs. 0.58 rating).
