‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 33 Earns Largest Total Viewer Finale Audience in Five Years — Largest Adults 18-49 Audience in Seven Years

After seven days of viewing (including linear playback) on ABC, Disney+, Hulu and digital platforms, the “Dancing with the Stars” season 33 finale shot to 7.95 million Total Viewers and a 1.55 rating in Adults 18-49, growing +25% in Total Viewers (7.95 million vs. 6.36 million) and +36% in Adults 18-49 (1.55 rating vs. 1.14 rating) over the show’s record-setting Live+Same Day audience. The finale represented the show’s highest delivery in multiplatform viewing for any “Dancing with the Stars” telecast in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 in three years – since the show’s season 30 premiere on 9/20/21. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 33 Finale Delivers Largest Audience in Over Four Years

“Dancing with the Stars” concluded its spectacular season 33 as the top program of the night, delivering record-breaking audience in both Total Viewers (6.36 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.14 rating) – the best Total Viewer audience since the show’s season 29 finale on 11/23/20 and the best Adults 18-49 audience since the season 29 premiere on 9/14/20. Continuing its notable upward trajectory this season, the “Dancing with the Stars” semifinals was the top program of the night in Adults 18-49 (0.75 rating) and all key Women demos, including Women 18-34 (1.10 rating), Women 18-49 (1.04 rating) and Women 25-54 (1.27 rating). The spectacular season 33 penultimate episode grew over the previous week’s 500th episode celebration in both Total Viewers (5.19 million vs. 5.13 million) and Adults 18-49 (0.75 rating vs. 0.71 rating), hitting a season high in Total Viewers. In addition, the episode grew over last season’s semifinals (11/28/23) in both Total Viewers (5.19 million vs. 5.10 million) and Adults 18-49 (0.75 rating vs. 0.64 rating). ‘Dancing with the Stars’ 500th Telecast Is Top Entertainment Program of the Night in Adults 18-49

In addition, the milestone episode, featuring spectacular tribute performances from past seasons, ranked as the No. 1 telecast on Tuesday night in Women 18-34 (0.92 rating) and Women 18-49 (0.95 rating), as well as Teens 12-17 (0.29 rating) and Adults 25-54 (0.93 rating). “Dancing with the Stars” grew over the previous episode by a healthy +15% in Total Viewers (5.13 million vs. 4.47 million), hitting a season high. “Dancing with the Stars” also led NBC’s “The Voice” by 29% (5.13 million vs. 3.97 million), its largest margin over the long-running singing competition program in nine years — since 11/24/15. Building on its remarkable success this season, “Dancing with the Stars” was the top entertainment program of the night in Adults 18-49 (0.72 rating), based on Live+Same Day data. With the show’s festive “Disney Night,” “Dancing with the Stars” (0.72 rating) led its closest competition in the 8-10 p.m. time period on CBS by +85% (0.39 rating), NBC by +95% (0.37 rating) and FOX by 300% (0.18 rating). “Dancing with the Stars” topped the previous week’s episode in Total Viewers by 10% (4.85 million vs. 4.40 million)and in Adults 18-49 by +7% (0.72 rating vs. 0.67 rating), hitting a 4-week high in both measures – since 9/24/24.
