ABC Announces Haunting Halloween Programming Lineup
Spellbinding New Episodes of ‘9-1-1,’ ‘Abbott Elementary,’ ‘AFV,’
‘Dancing with the Stars,’ ‘Doctor Odyssey’ and ‘Press Your Luck’ to Air This October,
Streaming Next Day on Hulu
Throughout this month, ABC will air a ghostly lineup of Halloween-themed episodes and festive films, including spine-tingling new episodes of “9-1-1,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Dancing with the Stars” and “Doctor Odyssey,” and broadcast television debuts of fan favorites “Haunted Mansion” (2023) and “Hocus Pocus 2.”

SUNDAY, OCT. 13
7:00-8:01 p.m. EDT – America’s Funniest Home Videos: “3404” (3404) (Rebroadcast. OAD: 10/29/23)
Boo! It’s almost Halloween, and “AFV” is filling the night with witch-cackling videos including kids’ funny antics while trick-or-treating, people getting scared by costumes and decorations, plus a musical tribute to birthdays.
8:01-10:30 p.m. EDT – “Haunted Mansion” (2023) – Broadcast Television Premiere
Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.
10:30-11:00 p.m. EDT – Celebrity Family Feud: “Haunted Mansion Cast: Tiffany Haddish vs. Justin Simien” (903A)
Hosted by Steve Harvey, the cast of “Haunted Mansion” including Tiffany Haddish and Justin Simien battle it out to see who will win the grand prize for their selected charities.
SUNDAY, OCT. 20
8:01-10:00 p.m. EDT – “Hocus Pocus”
A teenage boy named Max and his little sister move to Salem, where he struggles to fit in before awakening a trio of diabolical witches that were executed in the 17th century.
THURSDAY, OCT. 24
8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT – 9-1-1: “Masks” (805)
The 118 is once again working on the spookiest night of the year and missing out on all the tricks and treats. Meanwhile, Buck’s Halloween decorations become a little scarier than he had hoped.
9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT – Doctor Odyssey: “Halloween Week” (105)
It’s Halloween on The Odyssey, featuring a high-stakes costume contest; but when a zombie-like illness plagues select passengers, the festivities take a dark turn. Meanwhile, Avery and Max embark on a rescue mission.

7:00-8:01 p.m. EDT – AFV: “3504” (3504)
It’s the spooktacular Halloween episode, where folks are surprised by creepy decorations, enjoy laughs over amusing costumes, and celebrate the clumsiness of the season.
8:01-10:00 p.m. EDT – “Hocus Pocus 2” – Broadcast Television Premiere
A haunting sequel to the Halloween classic which brings back the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters for more comedic mayhem.
10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT – Press Your Luck: “Halloween Spooktacular” (607)
It’s time for the WHAMMY to deliver a few more tricks than treats as host Elizabeth Banks and the contestants scare up some big bucks.
TUESDAY, OCT. 29
8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT – Dancing with the Stars: “Halloween Nightmares” (3307)
The remaining couples get into the Halloween spirit with hair-raising transformations and spine-tingling routines for a night of fright and fun.

It’s Halloween at Abbott Elementary! Janine and Gregory proudly show off their couple’s costume, but it fails to translate. Meanwhile, Barbara faces pushback from parents concerned about hygiene and her beloved apple-bobbing tradition.
