Tom Werner
Tom Werner has executive produced over 1,500 half-hours of television, including landmark programs such as the original “Roseanne,” “The Cosby Show,” “3rd Rock from the Sun,” “That ‘70s Show” and “Survivor’s Remorse.”
Werner has been inducted into the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame as well as the Broadcasting & Cable Magazine Hall of Fame. His company, Carsey-Werner, has produced shows which have won numerous Emmy® Awards (24), Golden Globes® (11), Humanitas Prizes (4), George Foster Peabody Awards (2) and NAACP Image Awards (18). In 2018, Werner founded Werner Entertainment, the studio behind “The Conners,” a spinoff of the groundbreaking family comedy “Roseanne.” Most recently, Werner teamed up with Sara Gilbert to launch their new production company, sara + tom.
Outside of entertainment, Werner also is chairman of the Boston Red Sox.
