Sarah Esberg

Sarah Esberg is the president of Drew Goddard’s production company, Goddard Textiles, joining after a tenure as a producer and executive with Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment. She has executive produced filmmaker-driven features, included Barry Jenkins’ “Moonlight” and “If Beale Street Could Talk,” Bong Joon Ho’s “Okja,” and Felix van Groeningen’s “Beautiful Boy,” as well as TV series including Netflix’s “The OA” and Starz’s “Sweetbitter.” At Goddard Textiles, she is producing a diverse array of series across the Disney’s linear and streaming platforms FX, Hulu, Disney + and ABC, along with several films spanning multiple genres. Her current projects include Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s “Project Hail, Mary,” starring Ryan Gosling and Sandra Hüller, which Goddard wrote; the highly anticipated next installment of “The Matrix” franchise for Warner Bros. which will be written and directed by Goddard; and “High Potential” starring Kaitlin Olson which will debut on ABC this fall. Esberg began her career producing low-budget independent films for producer/director Roger Corman’s production company, and holds degrees from Stanford University and UCLA School of Law.
