Midori Francis
Midori Francis plays Mika Yasuda on “Grey’s Anatomy,” a first-year surgical intern at Grey Sloan.
Francis was most recently seen in the HBO Max series “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” created by Emmy®-nominated writer/producer Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, where she starred as Alicia, the leader of the Essex College Women’s Center.
She previously starred in the Netflix series “Dash & Lily” as Lily, a sunny holiday-loving New Yorker, as well as Universal Pictures “Good Boys,” directed by Gene Stupnitsky and written by Lee Eisenberg. The film, which premiered at SXSW, was one of 2019’s major box office successes. She was also seen in the Facebook Watch series “The Birch” and in the Netflix film “Afterlife of the Party.”
She has starred in numerous productions onstage including Ming Peiffer’s “Usual Girls,” in which she was nominated for a Drama Desk award in the category of Best Leading Actress and for which The New York Times called her performance “bold, moving and full-on funny.” She was also seen in the acclaimed production of “Before the Meeting” at Williamstown in 2019, which was named one of the best shows of the year by the New York Times. She appeared in Sarah DeLappe’s Drama Desk Award-winning play “The Wolves” at Lincoln Center.
