Megan Michaels Wolflick has produced and developed a wide array of programming across multiple genres. With over 20 years of front-line production experience, she has built teams to perform in both the live environment and docuseries spaces.
Michaels Wolflick serves as executive producer and showrunner of “American Idol” on ABC. Working side by side with the host and celebrity judges, she is a key asset in the search to find America’s next singing sensation and future successful music artist. Working on the groundbreaking series across various roles since 2003, she remains instrumental in the show’s continued success as leader of breaking new innovative boundaries among reality competition series by keeping it creatively fresh while staying true to its roots, year to year.
Michaels Wolflick has also worked as a development producer at Fremantle, collaborating with innovators across the globe to develop, market and pitch new television formats.
Before her time on “American Idol,” she produced a variety of network and cable series including “SportsCentury” for ESPN, “Beyond The Glory” for Fox Sports, as well as many specials in the awards space including “The Source Awards,” “The Stunt Awards” and “The Action Sports Awards.”
Michaels Wolflick resides in Los Angeles.
