Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker are the creators and showrunners of HBO Max’s “Harley Quinn” for WBTV and D.C. Entertainment. They are also serving as executive producers on ABC’s upcoming series “Abbott Elementary” with Quinta Brunson. Previously, Halpern and Schumacker were the showrunners and executive producers of NBC’s “Powerless” for WBTV and D.C. Entertainment. Prior to that, Halpern and Schumacker co-created Fox’s “Surviving Jack” as well as CBS’s “S#*! My Dad Says” with Max Mutchnick and David Cohen. “S#*! My Dad Says” was adapted for television based on Halpern’s New York Times bestselling book, “Shit My Dad Says.” Halpern and Schumacker have also been involved with such popular series as “iZombie,” “Cougar Town” and “How to Be a Gentleman.” Halpern and Schumacker are under an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television and are repped by ICM Partners and Allison Binder of Goodman, Genow, Schenckman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
