Brad Falchuk
Brad Falchuk is a multiple Emmy® Award-winning co-creator, executive producer, writer and director behind some of Hollywood’s most iconic and trailblazing television shows.
After a prolific decade at 20th Television, Falchuk signed a multi-year overall deal with Netflix where he co-created the dark action comedy, “The Brothers Sun,” alongside first-time writer Byron Wu. The series, which premiered in early 2024, follows Charles Sun (Justin Chien), a Taipei gangster who’s settled into his life as a ruthless killer but must go to Los Angeles to protect his estranged mother (Oscar® winner Michelle Yeoh) and younger brother (Sam Song Li) after his father is attacked by a mysterious assassin.
Falchuk’s previous credits include FX’s critically acclaimed series “American Horror Story,” which won 16 of its 98 Emmy nominations; FX’s Emmy-winning “Pose” and “American Crime Story”; “Nip/Tuck”; Fox’s hit series “Glee,” which won six of its 35 Emmy nominations; “Scream Queens”; “American Horror Stories”; “9-1-1”; “9-1-1: Lone Star” and Netflix’s “The Politician.”
Falchuk is one of the founding members of The Young Storytellers Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop literacy through the art of storytelling. Falchuk currently sits on the board of the foundation which serves more than 100 schools in Los Angeles, New York City and Denmark. The Young Storytellers Foundation facilitates self- expression for underprivileged students by mentoring them through the process of writing their own short screenplays and having those screenplays performed by famous actors.
Originally hailing from Newton, Massachusetts, Falchuk received his master’s degree from the American Film Institute and currently resides in Los Angeles. He credits Bruce Springsteen and David Ortiz for making him into the man he is today.
