Alexis Martin Woodall
Alexis Martin Woodall is in the midst of a big year — marking her 20th anniversary working with the iconic Ryan Murphy, and things have never been more thrilling. From her first job with Ryan — as a post-production assistant on “Nip/Tuck” — to her most recent evolution — showrunning and directing on “American Horror Stories,” Woodall has had a true education in storytelling from the master himself.
Woodall has served as president of Ryan Murphy Productions since 2019, and executive produces some of the most inspiring and creative shows in television history, including, most recently, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” Netflix’s second most popular show of all time, and “The Watcher,” which ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s most-viewed shows.
Woodall has won three Emmy® Awards for her producing work on “The Normal Heart,” “American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson” and “American Crime Story: The Assissination of Gianni Versace,” with a total of 13 nominations including “Pose,” “Feud: Bette and Joan,” “American Horror Story” and “Glee.” Additionally, Woodall has garnered eight Golden Globe® nominations including “Ratched,” “The Prom,” “The Politician,” “Feud,” “American Horror Story,” “The Normal Heart,” “The People V. O.J. Simpson and The Assassination of Gianni Versace.”
